![]() There is more at play than just throwing artillery at you. Once you lose support or CAS asset, your match will seem un winnable. Since you come from World in Conflict where support assets are indestructible and rely on cool downs, you don't seem to have realized how valuable those are yet. It took me several game-hours before I got the hang of it, and I still get my ass kicked.Īrtillery and CAS are your lifelines. They are playing it right, you just don't have the hang of it yet, given the steep learning curve. ![]() The whole game revolves around "camping" if you put it that way. What you call camping in a mountain is in reality a well defended position. Now, do I have it completely wrong and is the game really supposed to be played like that? Is this considered as a common flaw? Is this exacerbated by 10v10 games? The last similar game I played online was World in Conlict, and things in multiplayer seemd a bit "balanced" as it didn't have a deck system, but players were each given a role instead. So let's say I found this a bit dull, especially as I love playing with armor. Any attempt to push forward is rewarded by more artillery, any unit that's out of cover just becomes a target for artillery. People hardly fight at all, and instead camp the nearest moutain/forest/building and shell eachother with artillery. According to Steam I've played for 17 hours so far, most of that mainly in multiplayer, but mainly in 10v10 games.Īnyway, my experience so far has been a bit of a let down. After the last Steam sale I decided to check Red Dragon, which I had been interested in since its release. This is a fan-run community, we are not affiliated with the creators of the Wargame Series.
